THIS FUNDING APPLICATION SEEKS APPROVAL FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AND SUPPORT SERVICES ALONG THE ALIGNMENT ABOVE FROM EAST KAPOLEI THROUGH DOWNTOWN CIVIC CENTER.; ACTIVITIES PERFORMED: THIS AWARD WILL BE USED FOR ONGOING CAPITAL PROJECT CONSTRUCTION RELATED PROFESSIONAL AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO INCLUDE WORK SCOPE OVERSIGHT AS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE SEGMENT I OPENING FROM EAST KAPOLEI STATION TO ALOHA STADIUM. IT WILL ALSO INCLUDE THE OVERSIGHT AND MANAGEMENT OF ROADWAY-RELATED SCOPE AROUND AND THROUGH ALL AIRPORT GUIDEWAY STATIONS (AGS) STATIONS LOCATED BETWEEN ALOHA STADIUM AND THE MIDDLE STREET TRANSIT CENTER. LASTLY CITY CENTER UTILITY RELOCATION (CCUR) WORK IN THE DILLINGHAM CORRIDOR LOCATED EAST OF THE MIDDLE STREET TRANSIT CENTER UP TO AND INCLUDING THE CIVIC CENTER STATION WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS FUNDING.; EXPECTED OUTCOMES: EXPECTED OUTCOMES INCLUDE THE COMPLETION OF ALL REMAINING ITEMS TO OPEN UP SEGMENT I GUIDEWAY AND STATION FACILITIES THEREBY ADDING ANOTHER MAJOR MODE OF TRANSPORTATION IN THE TRAVEL AREA -- ASSISTING IN THE REDUCTION OF SURFACE CONGESTION IN THAT CORRIDOR. CONTINUED COMPLETION OF THE AGS WORK SCOPE WILL IMPROVE CONGESTION RELIEF THROUGH THE MIDDLE STREET AREA AND IMPORTANTLY CREATE MULTIMODAL OPTIONS TO GET TO THE DANIEL K INOUYE AIRPORT.
